Students have been busy adding and updating elements to their Transition Portfolios. The Transition Portfolios reflect where a student is now and where a student is going. The process of creating the portfolio empowers each student to take ownership of their future plans. Learning the key components of writing a cover letter and resume have been of focus since the beginning of the year. Students have also spent time developing and researching their vocational interests while assessing their personal job-related characteristics. Self-evaluation of their work skills has also provided essential information as they continue to develop greater career awareness.
